Animal Transportation

ULAM operates a temperature-controlled truck that allows us to provide a variety of transportation services, including delivery of animals received from vendors at our dock to other buildings, transferring animals and/or equipment between buildings, and trips to Detroit Metro Airport to pick up animals shipped to University investigators.

The charges for use of the truck include the truck driver fee ($28.68 per hour) plus
$1.54 per mile. A minimum of 48-hour notice is required for all trips.
