APPLICATION INFORMATION

The University of Michigan is a participant of the Uniform Application Program (UAP) of Postdoctoral Training Programs in Laboratory Animal Medicine. Information regarding the UAP as well as the 2009-2010 UAP schedule of events can be found at www.aslap.org/OnePage.php

As stated in the UAP description, applicants to the University of Michigan training program must submit the following information and documents:

 


1) The Laboratory Animal and Comparative Medicine Postdoctoral Training Program application form. 

2)  A one page essay characterizing a) the origin and nature of your interest in comparative medicine, b) your previous experience in research and laboratory animal medicine, and c) your career goals.

3)  A CV including publications, honors and awards, and society and committee memberships and offices.

4)  Three letters of recommendation from persons familiar with your background and interests.  Letters must be submitted directly by the reference and not by the applicant.

5)  Official transcripts from all undergraduate, graduate, and professional educational institutions attended.
